Legend Boats is proud to announce that Marc Duhamel, Co-CEO and President, has been inducted into the prestigious National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) Hall of Fame. The NMMA Hall of Fame is the association’s highest honour, awarded to individuals who have made substantial and lasting contributions to the advancement of the marine industry. Marc joins a distinguished group of industry pioneers, including Legend Boats’ founders Victor Duhamel and Carl Dewar, who were inducted in 2015.

Marc Duhamel began his full-time journey with Legend Boats in 1992 and has since been a driving force behind its success. Legend Boats Announces Walleye Wars 2024 Across Four Provinces

SUDBURY, ONTARIO| Legend Boats is thrilled to announce its sponsorship of the Walleye Wars 2024, an exciting fishing tournament with separate events in Manitoba, Ontario, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. Using the innovative MyCatch app by Angler’s Atlas, this multi-province event promises to be one of the most exhilarating fishing competitions of the year.

Tournament Schedule and Locations:

• Manitoba: June 14 – June 23, 2024
• Ontario: June 28 – July 7, 2024
• Alberta: August 30 – September 8, 2024
• Saskatchewan: Dates To Be Announced

Participants of all ages and skill levels are invited to join this Catch, Photo, Record tournament. Anglers will use the MyCatch app to submit their catches, competing for over $20,000 in cash and Legend Boats Accessories Store gift cards. The entry fee is $200 per angler, and each participant must register individually. Anglers under the age of 15 must fish with an adult.

“We are excited to bring Walleye Wars 2024 to four provinces this year,” said Jesse Davis, Director of National Sales at Legend Boats. “This tournament not only offers great prizes but also provides an opportunity for anglers to create lasting memories and enjoy the great outdoors.”

Legend Boats Acquires Upper Canada Marine

HAVELOCK, ONTARIO – Legend Boats, a leading Canadian boat builder with a large dealer network as well as company-owned boat dealerships, is thrilled to announce the acquisition of Upper Canada Marine, located in Havelock, Ontario. Upper Canada Marine will continue to operate without many changes but will immediately begin offering Legend Boats comprehensive range of fishing boats, pontoon boats, deck boats, accessories, and services.

Existing customers of Upper Canada Marine can anticipate a seamless transition as Legend Boats takes the helm. Most current Upper Canada Marine employees will remain part of the team. All ongoing service contracts and warranties will be honored, ensuring continuity of service.

Duhamel and Dewar – Home of Legend Boats in Whitefish has expanded many times over its 52 year history to its present all new state of the art facility in Whitefish, near Sudbury, Ontario.
